Is the Landlord responsible for extermination cost of bed bugs when they are responsible?
I own a house and the tenants relocated because of bed bugs. I’ve never had bedbugs and they kept a lot of waste in the building and I had a quarterly pest treatment, I kept the deposit for the expensive treatment and now they are unhappy. I was only notified of bed bugs when they moved, they also did not divest the property of silver fish, cockroaches when they left under the lease?
